TerrellDavid has been presenting since 1998. He has been involved in both the Leather and BDSM communities for over a decade. He was the first openly identified heterosexual to compete at International Mr. Leather in 2000. He has served as a leather titleholder (Holding the titles of Oklahoma Mr. Leather 2000, Mr. Great Plains Olympus 2005 and Mr. Olympus Leather 2006), leather contest producer and have held various posts in the local, regional and national leather BDSM communities.

David has taught classes at: South Plains Leatherfest, International Ms. Leather(KCLU), International Mr. Leather (People of Color Summit), San Francisco's Leather Alley and TTK's Kinky Karnival well as published over 77 articles for www.leatherpage.com, The Leather Journal, www.leatherweb.com and the Dominant's View. He is the 2002 recipient of the Pantheon Award for community service in the South Central Region. David, along with Sir Damien runs Master Richard's place and Kinbaku_KCMO, a dungeon space and a rope group in KCMO where they teach rope bondage classes. He has studied Shibari/Kinbaku with Osada Steve in Tokyo, Japan and has received instruction from Mark Yu and is mentored by Numinous.


 

PRESENTATIONS

Basic and Intermediate Japanese Style Rope Bondage

"There is no Kinbaku without Shibari, but not all Shibari is Kinbaku." The purpose of this class is to introduce an approach to Japanese style rope bondage, that will include dynamic rope bondage and the exchange of energy (ki). This class will cover basic shibari ties such as (wrist ties, ankle ties, arm and leg harnesses). There will be a short discussion between each technique in order to discuss how this energy exchange can be introduced and used between the rope top and bottom. The class will cover how energy can be exchanged through dynamic rope bondage. This class will cover dynamic movement during ties, the introduction of ki, efficiency techniques to minimize the time it takes to tie and to maximize pleasure. This class will cover the takate kote and then discuss how energy can be explained using this technique.

 

Deep Tissue Bruising and Rough Body Play

We only bruise the one we love or lust after. This class will discuss the reasons why people engage in these activities, in addition to addressing effective techniques used to engage in this play safely and enjoyably. Please be ready to participate as this is an interactive class. The goals are to have fun and explore the exchange of energy that can take place playing in this manner. In addition the class will address the results of this type of play...namely bruising
